How do I get a certificate?
Certificates are available for most of our courses and competitions.
Course certificates
Certificates are available in most courses once a course has been 100% completed (all problems passed).
To qualify for a certificate, you should complete all problems in the course (including playgrounds); problems appear as a diamond in the course navigation area.
Once you have successfully marked your final problem, the problem diamond will turn green, and you will receive an email with a link to your certificate. You can also download your certificate at any time afterwards from the Course page.
If you haven't received a certificate for a course above you'd previously completed, we may have added the certificate recently; try resubmitting your answer to the final problem.
Please note that certificates are not available for our Scratch courses. See here for more information.
Competition certificates
Competition certificates become available after the closing date of the competition, usually the following week. Participants are emailed once certificates are generated and available for download.
Competition certificates don't require completion, but are graded according to the number of points earned. See here for grading information.
Please note that you must attempt at least 5 problems to be eligible for a certificate.
