How do I move students between groups/classes?

At certain points - for instance, the end of a school year - you may want to move a large number of students between groups. The easiest way to do this is to first Delete the old groups from the teacher dashboard:

Clicking on Edit for a group brings up the following message which gives you the option to delete the group:

After this, you can upload the students again via the bulk upload process. As long as the email addresses and user roles (i.e. student, teacher, etc.) you provide are consistent with the students already in the system, the only affect of this bulk upload will be to enrol them in the groups you specify.

We recommend naming your groups with the current year. If you don't do this, the 7A group might contain both students from 7A from the previous year and students from the current year if you haven't removed it first. If you do end up in this situation, delete the problematic group and upload the students again.
