How do I delete my Grok Academy account?
Before you delete your account, please ensure you understand the consequences of deleting your account by reading our Privacy Policy. In accordance with your right to be forgotten, account deletion erases all of your Personal Information and it cannot be reversed. All your course progress will be disassociated from your account. If you wish to use Grok Academy in the future, you will need to create a new account and start any courses from the beginning.
Teacher Accounts
If you are a teacher and are able to login (ie you have a password), you can delete your account yourself.
- Go to your Account Settings, and then click "Delete account" in the left navigation bar.
- Follow the instructions on screen.
If you are a teacher and have forgotten your password, email our support team at help@grokacademy.org and we can action this for you.
Student Accounts
If you are a student and have been subscribed to Grok Academy by a teacher, we will need your teacher to contact us (through their school email) at help@grokacademy.org with your name and email address. Once this has been received, we will delete your account.
